Autograph letter signed from S.W. Singer, South Lambeth, to Rev. John Mitford [manuscript], 1853 June 7.

Discusses the word "run-aways" in Juliet's soliloquy, which he thinks is similar to wording used in Coriolanus, Act IV, scene 6: "Go see this rumourer whipp'd." He also includes a quotation from Romeo and Juliet beginning: "Gallop apace, you fiery-footed steeds." Singer would like Mitford's opinion on the topic. Addressed from Manor Place, South Lambeth. With an engraving of S.W. Singer.

2 leaves ; 19 x 12 cm.
